Project Details:
The newly designed boutique is inspired by Hong Kong’s culture and landscape, incorporating elements such as traditional junk boat sails and fluted columns reminiscent of bird cages found in historic Chinese markets.
Conceived by the renowned design firm Moinard Bétaille, the boutique spans 839 square meters and showcases notable architectural elements, including an impressive domed glass roof that provides abundant natural light throughout the interior. The space offers distinct zones for visitors: the Feminine Universe, highlighted by an orchid mural that honours artisanal craftsmanship; the Unisex & Masculine Universe, which mirrors the dynamic urban environment; and the Prestige Universe, dedicated to Cartier’s exceptional high jewelry collections.
The interiors are enhanced by custom furnishings and refined gold accents, imparting an atmosphere of enduring elegance and luxury. Strategically designed lighting accentuates both the jewelry displays and architectural highlights, fostering an inviting ambience that harmoniously merges contemporary refinement with tributes to Hong Kong’s heritage. Each aspect—from selected materials to the arrangement of artworks and decorative pieces—has been carefully curated to deliver an immersive, memorable experience that reflects Cartier’s dedication to innovation and tradition.
